Elvis Presley
"The King of Rock 'n' Roll" was eight years younger than Roscoe Bartlett. He burst onto the scene with That's All Right in 1954 and two years later Heartbreak Hotel hit Number 1 on the charts. By the end of the year, "Elvis the Pelvis" had placed more hit songs on Billboard Magazine's Top 100 charts than anyone else in history.
But all was not well in the life of Elvis Presley. Elvis had a weakness for young girls. When he was 24 years old, he fell in love with a 14 year old girl, and, according to one biographer, had sex with her on their second date. He married her in 1967. He never could stay faithful to her, however.
He also had a severe problem with drug abuse. After his divorce in 1973, he overdosed and spent three days in a coma in a hotel room. He died of a heart attack while sitting on a toilet over 31 years ago. This photo of his corpse on the cover of the National Enquirer made it the best selling issue of that rag ever.
